We are currently seeking the expertise of a Leadership Content and Program Lead to join our team from our office in Bedford, NS.
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Manager, Leadership Development, the Leadership Content and Program Lead will be responsible for creating and designing educational materials and resources to support leadership development initiatives. This role will also include program administration work.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze data to identify and understand the gaps between current performance and desired performance.
- Identify and define program outcomes, learning outcomes and learning objectives.
- Create instructional material and supporting resources to meet defined program outcomes.
- Create assessment tools to measure learner understanding.
- Develop evaluation metrics to measure long-term behaviour change as a result of program participation.
- Assess program outcomes and effectiveness for continuous improvement.
- Support the delivery of leadership initiatives, this may include program planning and implementation, stakeholder communication, auditing courses, and other tasks as required.
- Design leadership resources to support individual, self-directed learning. This may include posters, lunch and learn sessions, newsletter articles, info graphics, leadership tip sheets, and more.
- Stay up to date on the latest leadership development topics and practices by researching, reading relevant articles/books and participating in development initiatives.
- Other duties as required
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in instructional design, both classroom and online.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Strong project management, organizational and communication skills.
- Thrive in a collaborative work environment.
- A post-secondary education in adult education is preferred.
