Dexter Construction, part of The Municipal Group of Companies, is a large, diversified organization engaged in all major aspects of the heavy civil construction, environmental, and transportation and courier services within the Atlantic Provinces. We are currently seeking the qualifications and expertise of an Office Clerk for our Valley operations based out of Greenwich, NS. This position will be full-time, seasonal.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Enter truck data and ensure work history is up to date and complete for each pay cycle
  • Enter accounts payable invoices
  • Send out mail, email, faxes and distribute incoming documents
  • Maintain office filing system
  • Any other duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suites
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Utilizes strong organizational and planning skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a team environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors
  • Working safely is a condition of employment
